About:

Hello! My name is Eason (Yi-Che) Lee, and I am currently a high school student at Irvington High School. My goal is to inspire people with motivating stories of fighters. By creating this website, I have been able to reach more people and gain valuable experience in researching and formatting content. I hope you find these stories as inspiring as I do.

Background:

During the pandemic, there were only a few sports available on live television, and UFC was one of them. I became a fan then and there. MMA is an individual sport, which makes it even more intriguing. Once you're inside the octagon, there are no teammates, no timeouts, no substitutions. It is as real as it gets for a sport.

Many people tend to think that MMA is all about violence and that those involved in the sport are uneducated or vicious. But MMA is so much more than that. The techniques, the hard work fighters put into the gym, all for others to label them as barbaric? Have you considered how they ended up in that situation? For some, MMA might be the only way they know how to earn money. They are out there fighting for their lives, and many even struggle to make a living from it.

Their stories deserve to be brought to light. This is why I created this website—to show people who these fighters really are. They are not just cage fighters; they are humans with inspiring lives, just like us. I hope to share their stories and change the perception of MMA, highlighting the dedication and resilience of these athletes.
